Bars Hot Dasher is a flashy 4 yr old grey mare sired by Bars Go Leo and out of Miss Hot Dasher. Miss Hot Dasher is an own daughter of Hot Dasher who is an own son of Dash For Cash who is a leading barrel horse sire. Fourteen of the 15 barrel horses at the 2009 NFR have this same blood line. This mare is bred to run and is very athletic!

Bars Hot Dasher is going to make a super barrel, 4-H, or trail riding horse. She certainly has the breeding behind it, but you should see her ride! She has been ridden in the breaks of the Missouri River- she really knows how to move out, crosses water, and handles rough terrain with ease. I checked pastures on her this past summer so she is used to being around cattle. What I really like about the mare is that she is quiet, she is the type of horse you can turn out for several months and when you get ready to ride her again she doesn't have any buck in her. My mother is 61 years old and I would trust this mare with her after several months off.

This mare has a great foundation on her. She is supple in the poll, shoulders, ribs, and hind quarters. She takes both leads, does flying lead changes, backs, side passes, pivots, and neck reins. Bars Hot Dasher is ready to go to the barrels, poles, or any 4-H event. I have hauled the mare to several barrel racings, she loads, trailers, and stands well.
